2025 AYWN Breakfast

About
The Aspiring Young Women’s Network Breakfast series is aimed at developing students’ awareness of the variety of career pathwaysand opportunities by giving them the chance to hear firsthand from alumni who have recently transitioned to university or their
chosen career. These events will also provide a platform to initiate connections between our students and industry, opening doors to work
experience placements, internships and mentoring opportunities.
Our guest speaker Elise is a physiotherapist with 16 years of clinical experience. Now, Elise works as a Principal Project Officer within Queensland Health on a digital health project. Elise's experience across the public health service as a clinician, researcher, and project officer, and her experiences in academia, give her a unique insight into the current challenges facing the public health system in Queensland and the critical role allied health professionals play in the delivery of quality healthcare services to Queenslanders.
