This weekend course is designed to take you through each step of the knife-making process, ensuring you leave with a fully completed and functional blade—no prior experience required!

About the Instructor - Rian Doudle (Master Knife Maker & Farrier)
Rian Doudle is the owner of Fallen Forge with decades of experience with crafting high-quality knives. With a passion for precision and craftsmanship, he has been running knife-making classes for over a decade, sharing his expertise with aspiring makers of all skill levels.
In addition to his knife-making mastery, Rian has worked as a farrier for over 27 years, demonstrating a lifelong dedication to metalwork and traditional craftsmanship. For the past six years, he has proudly led a veterans program in South Australia, providing a hands-on, therapeutic learning experience for veterans.
As the son of a veteran, and a servicemen himself, Rian is committed to supporting those who have served, ensuring that his program honours his father’s legacy. This initiative is more than just a course—it’s a tribute to his father and a way to give back to the veteran community.

The course will start Friday night 7pm with meet & greet over casual drinks on our Flowerdale farm in Victoria. Then the workshop will officially kick off at 9am the next day and continue until Sunday afternoon around 4pm.
This is your opportunity to meet new friends while learning new skills. All food will be provided (breakfast, snack, lunch & dinner) with our farm fresh produce, with everyone involved in fun meal preparation.
PS. The onsite workshop doesn't include accommodation (which can be purchased at additional cost).
