Dive into the world of linocut printmaking.Whether you are new to printmaking or looking to refresh your skills, this two-day workshop will introduce you to a range of linocut techniques to give you the confidence to create your own dynamic and colourful prints.
Your tutor, Andrea Schell, will cover the foundations of carving, inking and printing a single-plate design before exploring more advanced colour techniques, including multi-plate, jigsaw, and reduction printing. Using both hand-printing methods and an etching press, you will develop an understanding of materials, tools and creative possibilities.
