Following our foundational seminar, Therapeutic Horticulture in Practice, we are excited to continue our online seminar series exploring the elements of Kevin Heinze Grow’s therapeutic model of practice: The GROW Model, starting with Engagement & Participation.This seminar focuses on the meaning of "Engagement" and "Participation" in Therapeutic Horticulture—terms often used to describe a participant’s interaction with activities and experiences. How do we define, foster, and reflect on meaningful engagement?
Together we will explore how Therapeutic Horticulture professionals at KHG approach, discuss, and reflect on engagement and participation in their work. Attendees will gain insight into these reflections and be introduced to a framework to support their own practice.
