Building on our previous seminars, we are excited to continue our exploration of Kevin Heinze Grow’s therapeutic model of practice: The GROW Model. This session focuses on Reflection—a key element in Therapeutic Horticulture that enhances understanding and deepens the impact of gardening experiences.Reflection is an essential process in Therapeutic Horticulture, allowing practitioners and participants to describe, analyze, and gain insight from their experiences. How can structured reflection improve engagement and outcomes? How can we create opportunities for meaningful reflection within therapeutic gardening programs?
In this seminar, we will discuss how reflection is embedded in Kevin Heinze Grow’s group settings, share examples of reflective practices in action, and offer attendees the opportunity to engage in guided reflection themselves.
