Organ Recital with Hamsa Arnold

HAMSA ARNOLD, from St Mary's Anglican Church, Ballina, will be playing the historic C W Leggo organ at All Saints Anglican Church, Murwillumbah on Sunday July 27.Hamsa graduated from Music Academy Lucerne with Masters in Organ, Conducting and Music Education. He has been active as an organist and choral director and was a lecturer for Music Education in Switzerland.
Since arriving in Australia in 2014 he has regularly performed as a soloist and accompanist with various Choirs and ensembles in the Northern Rivers.
Hamsa is the Organist and Music-Coordinator at St Mary’s Anglican Church Ballina and director of Syrinx vocal ensemble. He is the founding-director of The Music Estuary concert series.
His recital at All Saints Anglican church, Murwillumbah will be of wide interest, including some organ classics, music by Florence Price (noted as the first African-American woman to be recognised as a symphonic composer), music from a film score, and music by 20th century composers
