The Long Road Olive Co-operative, in conjunction with Apulia Grove Olives and the Australian Olive Association, present the Olive Tree Care workshops.Supported by Campaspe Shire Council’s Flood Recovery Funding, these workshops are designed to bring together olive growers to facilitate community connection, grower education and practical grove management techniques, whether your “grove” is less than 3 trees, or up to 3000!
Session 1 (10am-12pm, with lunch after) will cover the safe use and maintenance of chainsaws for absolute beginners and Session 2 (1-3pm with lunch before) will cover the growth and management of olive trees for increased productivity.
