About
Dom Turner’s new venture The Rural Blues Project hybridises and arranges 20th Century rural blues music from artists such as Lead Belly, Fred McDowell and Robert Johnson, and breathing new life for 21st century audiences. Multi award winning Australian artist, Dom Turner is best known as guitarist, lead vocalist, and founding member of the iconic Australian blues group, Backsliders as well as other international collaborations including R.L. Boyce with Dom Turner, The Turner Brown Band and Phil Wiggins & Dom Turner.Joining Dom is legendary drummer Rosscoe Clarke (Foreday Riders, Cyril B Bunter) with occasional special guests.
