Each session in this new for 2025 "twilight" series can be attended on its own.At a time when the leaders of her own Church were less than supportive, Mary and her Sister-companions were supported by several prominent Adelaideans. Although they did not share Mary’s religious beliefs, they recognised her goodness & humanity and backed her work amongst Adelaide’s poorest.
In this story-telling session, Mary Ryan rsj, inaugural Director of the Mary MacKillop Museum, explores Mary's friendships with Emanuel Solomon, Joanna & Robert Barr Smith and Dr John Benson.
