Join us Sunday 24 August for this second Australian Garden History Society NNSW Branch speaker event featuring Wanderriby garden and guest Dr Stephen Utick presenting on Camellia Ark Australia and the significance of camellias to garden history. Stephen is a renowned camellia expert and co-founder of Camellia Ark which aims to conserve Australia’s rarest Camellias. He is Vice President of the International Camellia Society.That morning, buses will travel to Wollomombi and the magnificent garden of ‘Wanderriby’ with stunning trees, perennials and flowering shrubs including over 200 camellias with blooms of splendid size and colour. A light lunch with tea and coffee is included.
Then back to the Hoskins Centre for Stephen’s presentation. Cost is $115 per person for return bus trip, lunch, our speaker and a glass of wine and light snacks after the talk. Or, $45 for Stephen’s talk and refreshments only.
Please note the trip to Wanderriby is by bus only as part of the day package.
