Bentleigh Landcox Park East Brighton Guided History Walk

About
About This Walk: This walk takes us back in time on two lineages of time, pre and post colony history and the importance of the Elster Creek upstream also known as; Union Creek. By the time of the Gold Rush, the Brighton area had taken hold and an emerging colony needed fresh produce and agriculture to support the fast growing population. As such many of the lands southwards on the bayside began to be populated and this made great upheaval of the land use in the area. This walk will take you past 12 key landmarks of the area and turning points of history known to locals. After our walk - we will complete our walk at a lovely cafe near where we began at Bentleigh Station area.
