FARM TOUR + CONFERENCE

September 2 & 3

Rich River Golf Club, Moama NSW

VicNoTill farmers are passionate about better farming systems which connect soil, human, economic and environmental health. We know from experience that when it comes to growing more nutrient-rich food for today’s and future generations, you can’t be green if you’re in the red.

At Conference 2025 we’re bringing together some of the best finance, nutrition and farming minds in Australian agriculture. Together, we can all work towards healthy, wealthy farming.

FEATURING

Felice Jacka OAM

Deakin Distinguished Professor of Nutritional Psychiatry

Founder and director of the Food & Mood Centre at Deakin University

One of the world’s leading experts on the relationship between what we eat, and how it effects our mental health. Noticing the lack of research on diet and mental health while working in a psychiatric research unit, Felice embarked on a mission to study the links between ultra-processed foods and decreased brain health. Results of the studies she has led have been highly influential; cited in more than 100 policy documents globally and influencing clinical guidelines in psychiatry in Australia and elsewhere. She is also the author of Brian Changer, and There’s a Zoo in my Poo.

David Cook

Pine Lodge VIC farmer, former VicNoTill board member, Nuffield Scholar

David is one of Australia’s earliest adopters of cover crops and bringing livestock back into cropping systems to improve soil carbon and water holding capacity, and is widely known for continually pushing the boundaries in his farming system.

Matthew Barton

With a corporate and investment and agricultural background, Matthew helped develop the RCS Farming & Grazing for Profit course in 2007, which is recognised as the premier business program in Australian agriculture with over 8000 graduates.

The Bignell family farm is well known for pioneering and innovating a number of new and emerging Australian industries. Will has a fascinating back story and runs a highly diverse operation in an extremely challenging environment.
