Join us for a sneak peek into our new Griffith Base Hospital.
Community members are invited to take a behind the scenes look at the new $250 million Griffith Base Hospital at a Community Open Day.
Visitors will be able to take a walk through some of the key hospital services, including the emergency department, the maternity and medical inpatient unit, the specialist clinics as well as the spacious public areas.
We are excited to open our new facility and look forward to showing the community through parts of the new hospital before it opens later in June.
Key Information
- Tickets are limited. Registration is strongly encouraged. Priority will be given to people with a registration.
- Please register for every person attending.
- Children over the age of three (3) will need to register.
- Use the carpark at the front of Griffith Base Hospital.
- Tours are approximately 30 minutes and involve significant walking and stairs.
- Please wear comfortable shoes, appropriate for walking.
- Please support the Auxilary BBQ and drinks available for purchase at the conclusion of the tour.
- Tour registration and meeting point is at the hospital's lower ground floor entrance, adjacent to the Renal Unit.
