Since 2016, the GIAV Crop Tour has been a trusted source of pre-harvest yield estimates for cereal crops across south-eastern Australia, as well as a valuable networking opportunity for the grain industry.

The tour also serves as an excellent introduction for new staff, offering insights into crop conditions and a chance to build industry connections.

This year’s tour begins in Bendigo on Tuesday, 14 September, with the second night spent in a location to be confirmed. Participants will be divided into groups and assigned predetermined routes for crop scouting.

If you’re unable to attend, sponsorship opportunities are available. Your support helps ensure we can collect accurate, on-the-ground data by keeping people in the field.

Recommended: Please bring gumboots, wet weather gear, and a change of clothes.
