CSIRO, Australia’s national science agency has sites throughout Australia but the research centre at Bribie Island is unique, providing a tropical hub for aquaculture research. This state-of-the-art facility is playing a crucial role in the development of an aquaculture industry in tropical and subtropical Queensland, and beyond. CSIRO is helping improve the environment and health of fish, prawns, and other marine life. As part of Bribie Island Nature Festival, CSIRO presents a unique opportunity to undertake a guided tour of the centre.
