East Gippsland Shire Council is proud to be hosting the second Rising Strong: East Gippsland's Path to Community Resilience Forum on Friday, 6 June 2025, at the Forge Theatre and Arts Hub in Bairnsdale.Join us as we honour the resilience and strength of East Gippsland communities, five years on from the 2019-20 Black Summer bushfires.
Rising Strong brings together community members, local organisations and agencies to reflect on our shared recovery journey – celebrating successes, exploring ongoing challenges, and shaping a stronger future together. Gain insights from disaster recovery experiences and be part of important conversations around resilience and preparedness for future emergencies.
