2025 ACT Junior Rapid Chess Championship
When: Sunday 18 May 2025. Registration starts at 12:45pm. Play commences 1pm and
prize giving at around 4:45pm.
Where: Campbell High School Hall, Treloar Crescent, Campbell
Who: Children born on or after 1 January 2005
Cost: $20 per child ($25 for non-members). Third and subsequent child from the same family is free
Time Limits: 15 mins per player per game. 7 rounds will be played on the day and all players
participate in all rounds (except when byes occur). No players are “eliminated”
during the day!
Awards: Trophies for the ACT Open and Girl’s Champions for the Under 8, Under 10, Under
12, Under 14, Under 16 and Under 18 age groups.
Participants can only receive one trophy. Every player receives a ribbon!
Entries: The ACTJCL registration process has moved online. Please register via by Friday 16 May 2025.
