A facilitated full day program at the Yarra Ranges Tech School in Lilydale. These sessions are open to Home Educated students in the Yarra Ranges region for ages 12 years and above.

Along the way, you'll learn key skills in electronics, coding, and manufacturing—plus, you'll get to be super creative while tailoring your tech to meet specific needs. 🎨💻 By the end of the program, you’ll have the knowledge and confidence to turn your ideas into reality, setting you up for future success in tech and design! 🚀🎯

About this event
This event is being offered to students of secondary school level - ages 12 years and above only.
Please note that a parent/carer (only one per family) will be required to stay with and be responsible for their children during this session.
In addition to the above, it is a condition of the Yarra Ranges Tech School that everyone who stays on site will be required to show a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) card before entering the school. If you don't have a WWCC card you will need get one promptly! Due to a review of HEN policies this event will not be a drop off program as previous sessions have been. Please understand that parents/carers are not to actively participate in the sessions. Other arrangements will need to be made beforehand for any children not booked in as they will not be able to stay.

Please ensure you read the Guidelines for HEN Event Attendees for this event before making a booking.
Make sure to arrive at 9.15 am for a 9.30 am program start! Remember to bring food and water for the morning and lunch breaks.
The session will finish at 2.30pm.

Location
The Yarra Ranges Tech School is part of the Box Hill Institute, Lilydale Lakeside Campus and located in Building L3. The main entrance can be accessed from the south-west carpark located at the southern end of Jarlo Drive.
