WINTER FILM CLUB
Our much loved film club is back for another season, and this time we’ll be warming up to some comedy-drama with our resident film buff Tristan Fidler. Join us for a screening and post-film discussion. Films provided by Kanopy.

Submarine (2010) dir Richard Ayoade
This coming of age comedy-drama introduces us to Oliver, an unpopular 15-year-old Welsh teen who has some things on his mind. First is losing his virginity before his 16th birthday. He sets out to woo his feisty classmate Jordana. Then Oliver focuses on holding his family together. His father Lloyd, a depressed marine biologist seems unable to prevent Oliver’s mother Jill from succumbing to the dubious charms of a spiritual guru from down the road.
