4A A4 Fundraising Exhibition & PPANG Pop-Up Shop
About
This May: A Weekend of Art, Collecting and Playful Discovery at 4A
4A Centre for Contemporary Asian Art presents two compelling events in one vibrant space: the return of 4A A4, our beloved anonymous art fundraiser, and the debut of PPANG’s first pop-up shop, a showcase of playful prints, rugs and collectibles. Whether you are an art collector, an enthusiast, or simply looking for a dynamic cultural experience, a weekend at 4A promises intrigue and creativity.
4A A4: Mystery, Art, and Collecting at a Fixed Price
After a five year hiatus, 4A A4 returns in 2025, inviting visitors to engage with contemporary art in a uniquely interactive way. The premise is simple yet captivating. Every artwork is A4 sized, displayed anonymously and sold for just $250. The artist’s identity remains a secret until the moment of purchase, meaning your selection could be a piece by an internationally renowned name or an exciting new talent.
This year, we are expanding the experience through our partnership with Culture Vault, a digital market place to introduce digital collectibles alongside physical works. This innovation offers a fresh perspective on art acquisition, bridging traditional collecting with the digital realm.
PPANG Pop-Up: A Playful Intersection of Art and Design
Running concurrently with 4A A4, the inaugural PPANG pop-up shop brings the whimsical world of this Korean Australian artist to 4A. Known for her vibrant character designs and a practice that spans animation, illustration and fine art, PPANG presents a selection of exclusive prints, rugs, plush toys and more, all infused with her signature charm. This pop-up is a rare opportunity to own a piece of her creative universe.
Why Attend?
By participating in 4A A4, you directly support 4A’s future exhibitions and programs, ensuring the continued celebration of contemporary Asian art. The thrill of not knowing whose work you might take home adds an element of surprise to collecting. Meanwhile, PPANG’s pop-up offers exclusive access to limited edition works that blend art and design in delightful ways.
