This isn’t your standard sit-down, swirl-and-sniff Chardonnay tasting. A wine tasting for wine lovers, students of wine and the deeply curious. This is a tasting you won’t want to miss!
Join Nic Peterkin of L.A.S. Vino and Jay Beeson of Old Bridge Cellars for an evening of exploration, discovery and a fair bit of deliciousness — as we dive deep into the world of Margaret River Chardonnay.
Together we’ll explore:

The power of place — how dirt, sun and sea breeze shape the way chardonnay looks, smells and tastes. Looking at new single vineyard Chardonnay’s from L.A.S. Vino.

The gear — how barrels, concrete eggs, amphoras and other bits and pieces leave their fingerprint on the final wine.

A sneak peek at the future — barrel samples from the 2025 vintage, poured for the very first time anywhere in Australia, looking at Chardonnay straight from the source.

Fresh-off-the-boat 2024 L.A.S. Vino releases — The first tasting in Australia of the new L.A.S. Vino release. Including the 3 new L.A.S. Vino Chardonnays and alternatives to chardonnay like Chenin Blanc. All new release L.A.S. Vino wines will be available for tasting.

Barrel samples of 2025 Margaret River Chardonnay (young, raw, and showing all their cards), Looking at different vineyards and vessels.

Some proper classics — Pierro Chardonnay and Fire Gully Chardonnay (wines from Nic’s family vineyards). A few historical releases from both vineyards.
This is the kind of tasting we dream about — wines straight from the barrel, stories straight from the source and a room full of curious minds. You will taste up to 14 amazing wines, including some reds to finish to round out the evening. Grazing plates to match with wines included.
