A WINE TASTING EVENING TO REMEMBER - Brown Hill Estate Margaret RiverJoin us at the Museum of the Goldfields to support the Goldfields Repertory Club Community Theatre's rebuild project and enjoy some local history while sampling Brown Hill Margaret River wines coupled with Australiana canapes.
Brown Hill's 24-hectare vineyard was established in 1995. The vineyard landscape reminded owners Jim and Gwen Bailey of their childhood stomping grounds around the gold mines of Kalgoorlie. Four generations of Baileys lived in the Goldfields with close ties to Brown Hill (an old suburb of Kalgoorlie), so it seemed only natural to give the winery the same name.
Many of Brown Hill's wines, which are all estate grown, take their names from the Kalgoorlie area. Enjoy tasting 6 wines from Brown Hill Estate as we watch the sun set & be spoiled by mouth-watering canapes from the deck of the Ivanhoe Headframe (Museum of the Goldfields).
