State Opera South Australia’s 2025 Masterclass Series is a wonderful opportunity to peek behind the scenes of an opera performer’s training.This Masterclass is proudly supported by the Consulate of Italy Adelaide.
Specialist Italian coach Nicole Dorigo, language coach at Opera Australia, works with some lucky young singers on the art of recitative – the “singing of speech” in opera.
Nicole will explore the rhythms and cadences of singing in this language, finding colour and natural expression, and the relationship of the Italian language to good singing.
All Audience tickets are only $10.00 each. Come and support our next generation of singers.
