Active Inclusion / Upstander Training Workshop

This is Workshop 2 from a series hosted by CGD Council and Monash Health. Clubs who didn't attend Workshop 1 are still welcome to attend Workshop 2. Open to sports club volunteers in Greater Dandenong, Casey and Cardinia.Part 1 of this workshop is an engaging, interactive session designed to empower clubs. You will gain practical tools to actively welcome and include all community members, irrespective of background. The focus is on creating a sports community that mirrors the diversity of the broader community, fostering a sense of belonging for all.
Part 2 of this workshop will introduce clubs to the Upstander Framework, empowering the club community to respond to and prevent discrimination and racism. Through an interactive, scenario-based session, club members will learn practical strategies and gain confidence to take effective action in promoting inclusion and safety.
PLUS, CGD clubs who attend both Workshop 1 and 2 will be eligible to apply for a Monash Health grant.
