Dare to walk the Lighthouse grounds after dark!

166 years ago on 30 June 1859 the Cape Schanck Lighthouse was first illuminated by
Head Lighthouse keeper Robert Bowie and his Assistant William Fish.
You never know who you will meet in a torchlight walk around the lighthouse grounds
or at the lookout beneath the lighthouse.
This Tour starts from the Kiosk at the Red Brick House at 7pm
Please arrive at the Lighthouse gate by 6.50pm for entry.
Note: Gate closes at 6pm, so we will have to let you in if you arrive after that time.
Note: By order of AMSA Ghost Walk tours do not actually enter the Lighthouse and there will be no Lighthouse tours on this date 31 October 2025.

Janice is available to present at schools and groups with stories and the history of lighthouses. Schools and groups are also welcome to make site visits to Cape Schanck.
