166 years ago on 30 June 1859 the Cape Schanck Lighthouse was first illuminated by
Head Lighthouse keeper Robert Bowie and his Assistant William Fish.
You never know who you will meet in a torchlight walk around the lighthouse grounds
or at the lookout beneath the lighthouse.
This Tour starts from the Kiosk at the Red Brick House at 7pm
Please arrive at the Lighthouse gate by 6.50pm for entry.
Note: Gate closes at 6pm, so we will have to let you in if you arrive after that time.
Note: By order of AMSA Night site tours
do not actually enter the Lighthouse after dark due to Lighthouse operations.
However, providing it is still light enough, the tours on 31 October and 1 November 2025
will include a Lighthouse tour at 7pm before the 'Dark' Night site tour commences,
and this is included in the ticket price.
There will also be Lighthouse tours running from 11am to 4pm on both Friday 31 October 2025
and Saturday 1 November 2025.

For the 'Dark' Night Site Walks on 31 October and 1 November 2025 wear
sturdy footwear and bring a coat and torch with you.
