Join our passionate guides to discover the diverse history of the Abbotsford Convent and explore hidden pockets of our historic, National Heritage-listed precinct.On the walking tour, you will discover the diverse history of the Convent; from its use as a meeting point for the Kulin Nation, to its days as a convent when the Good Shepherd Sisters ran a closed monastic site for over a century, and how it came to be the leading arts and culture precinct it is today.
Social-History tours occur on the first Sunday of every month.

ACCESSIBILITY
The Abbotsford Convent is committed to providing access for all to our program and our venues. Our buildings and grounds are wheelchair accessible, though the precinct does contain some uneven surfaces and stairs so caution is advised.
Accessible bathrooms and lifts can be found on-site in addition to baby change facilities and both gendered and non-gendered bathrooms.
