MARY POPPINS - everyone’s favourite practically perfect nanny flies from the page and screen to the stage of the Shedley Theatre from 23rd to 25th October 2025

One of the most beloved Disney films of all time comes to life in a spectacular stage adaptation that has captured hearts around the world. Set in London, 1910, the story begins with Bert, the cheerful jack-of-all-trades, who introduces us to the Banks family — and their need for a miracle. Enter Mary Poppins: with her signature blend of magic and common sense, she turns the family’s world upside down (and maybe inside out). From chalk-drawing adventures to rooftop dances and heartfelt moments, Mary helps the children — and their parents — rediscover the importance of family, imagination, and kindness.

Anything can happen if you let it — and with Mary Poppins, it certainly does!

Saturday 21st June:
10.00am Ensemble Audition - School Years 2-5
11.00am Ensemble Audition - School Years 6-8
12.00pm Principal Auditions (School Years 2-8)
2.00pm Ensemble Audition - School Years 9-12
3.00pm Ensemble Audition - Adults
4.00pm Principal Auditions (School Years 9-12 & Adults)

Sunday 22nd June:
1.00pm-5.00pm Call-Backs

All performers must book a slot for an Ensemble audition which includes a group singing audition and a group dance audition. Trained dancers can choose to then stay on for a more advanced dance audition. Performers then have the option of selecting whether they would also like to attend a Principal audition. We encourage anyone who would like to to have a go at the Principal auditions! More details will be provided in the information sent out with your audition confirmation.

Please allow 1 hour for the Ensemble audition, and up to 1.5 hours for the Principal audition (if applicable).

Your Audition Fee ($10 per person) is a deposit. If we are unable to offer you a role, you will receive a refund of the fee. If you are offered a role in the cast, the fee will be credited to your Production Fee. There is no refund if you choose to withdraw from the auditions, and there is no refund if you are offered a role and turn it down.
