Enjoy a feast of uplifting, dramatic, and inspiring choral music from around the globe and through the ages. Canticum performs works by Lauridsen, Poulenc, Gibbons, Elgar and others, and features works by Brisbane-based composers Phillip Gearing, and Joe Twist, whose recently-commissioned "Let me sing the world”, written for us, is a simple plea for peace in the world.Join us and conductor Emily Cox in this, our joyful celebration of 30 years of music-making in Brisbane.
For this Friday evening concert, we're delighted to sing in the glorious acoustic of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Rosalie (Paddington).
