NOW Productions presents 'This Summer' at the Riverbanks College Theatre

THIS SUMMER – Don’t miss this heartfelt new musical at Riverbanks Theatre, Angle Vale, on Saturday 19th July 2025

Put together in just one week — from July 13th to 19th — This Summer is the product of a incredible one-week intensive!

Set at the fictional Camp Jackie, This Summer follows a group of campers through an unforgettable season of rivalries, first love, and self-discovery. Newcomer Sarah is just trying to survive her first year, with family friend Leah showing her the ropes. Meanwhile, Leah’s best friend Ava is quietly navigating the weight of grief for the first time. In Moonlight Cabin, best friends Ben, Dylan, Tyson, and Jack rule the camp with confidence and chaos. 

Camp leaders James and Jess are navigating their own complicated feelings. Younger sister of Sarah, Poppy is struggling to find where she belongs with the help of Sophie and Olivia. Rose, Mia and Zoe are attempting to make this summer all about them and not letting anyone in their way.

With a mix of famous songs and original numbers, This Summer explores love, identity, and what it means to truly belong—even when it’s the last place you expected.

Saturday 19th July – Riverbanks Theatre, Angle Vale

A two-act musical wiht a running time of approximately two hours, plus an intermission.

Featuring a cast of talented South Australian performers and directed by NOW alum Maisy Jo, this is a brand new original musical you won’t want to miss.
