GST and legal services are two things that don’t always play nicely. Many firms risk overpaying or misclassifying transactions, and with EOFY looming, now is the time to get it right.
Join us for a practical and focused session led by Tanya Brisbane (SEER Financial Group). With deep expertise in financial compliance and a sharp understanding of legal practice structures, Tanya will unpack the GST essentials relevant to private legal practices.
This session will cover:
- Common GST pitfalls for legal services
- How to structure your fees and invoicing correctly
- The key compliance issues ATO reviews are flagging
- Practical examples specific to WA-based firms
This session is ideal for principals, practice managers, and those responsible for firm finances, this session will be accessible, insightful and could save your firm money.
Attendees are encouraged to submit questions
Attendees will be eligible for up to 1 CPD point in CA1 (Practice Management).
