About
Join the LGIS Injury prevention team for a comprehensive workshop focusing on empowering and educating local government staff to perform basic ergonomic assessments and reduce the risk of musculoskeletal injuries for a number of local government employees.
Who is the workshop for?
This workshop is recommended for local government staff who would like to improve their knowledge of ergonomics. Perfect for local government roles in WHS, HR/people and culture, injury management wellbeing and information technology staff.
What you’ll learn
The workshop will provide the fundamentals for attendees to leave with the confidence and ability to provide individualised ergonomic advice and perform basic ergonomic assessments within their local government. LGIS injury prevention consultants will provide insight into their expertise and experience with members, and provide up to date advice on current ergonomic trends and equipment, with the new addition of vehicle and machinery ergonomics assessment protocols and resources.Spaces are limited so bookings are essential.
