Join us at the healthAbility Repair Café Whitehorse during this year's Seniors Festival for some fun and friendly sessions on sewing and mending!Facilitated by the team from A Fitting Connection with support from Whitehorse City Council, we will be running three sessions that will cover the basics of sewing and mending:
Session 1 – 10.00am: Putting together a basic sewing kit (different types of needles, cotton, scissors and fabrics)
Session 2 - 11.00am: Sewing machine basics
Session 3 – 12.00pm: Visible mending: how to make a patch or repair a feature
Each session will run for approximately 30 minutes, with light refreshments included.
