About This WORKSHOP
Join Artistic Disorder for this mending workshop for beginners, where you’ll learn basic mending and visible stitching techniques and apply them to your clothing or a practice piece!
Visible mending is an accessible craft that allows people to avoid the environmental pitfalls of fast fashion, save their favourite garments from landfill, and embrace the beauty of imperfections.
All materials are provided, but feel free to bring your own fabric item to mend!
This session is neurodiversity, disability, and LGTBQIA+ friendly. Host and instructor Shayde, fueled by a passion for community, believes that art, learning, and joy are essential for growth and connection.
Places are limited and suitable for ages 16 and above.
Date: Thursday 7 August 2025
Time: 5.45pm for 6pm start. Finish at 7pm.
Venue: City of Perth Library. 573 Hay Street, Perth.
Cost: $15 per person
All ticket sales are final, no refunds will be provided. Substitutions are accepted.
