EV Fleet Expo for Local Government
About
The EV Fleet Expo for Local Government will be held on Wednesday 19 November 2025 at Event Central at Caribbean Park, Scoresby.
This one-day event is designed specifically for fleet managers, sustainability and procurement professionals and operational staff responsible for service delivery across local government. The EV Fleet Expo will showcase the latest developments in battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs), with a strong focus on operational fleet applications.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
- view and test drive BEV passenger vehicles (pool cars under $50,000)
- explore a range of electric utilities, vans, and small trucks
- engage in education sessions highlighting best practices from councils
- learn from experts about topics including EV battery health, charging infrastructure, maintenance requirements, whole-of-life cost analysis and residual value and more
With around 40 electric vehicles on display, 20 available for test drives, and other EV-related exhibitors, this is your chance to experience what’s next for your fleet — all in one place. EV brands represented include Fuso, Hyundai, Foton, Nissan, Kia, Farizon, Deepal, Peugeot, Chery, MG, Jaecoo, Volkswagen, Smart, BYD and Zeekr (with more confirming each week).
Those attending the EV Fleet Expo will also have access to a co-located event being held together on the same day, in the same location - the Municipal Works Australia Knox Field Day.
EDUCATION PROGRAM
The Education Program is accessible by purchasing the EV Fleet Expo Day Pass. Early-bird registration available until 31 October 2025.
The Education Program will run from 9.30am until 4.30pm with morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea breaks. Leading EV industry and local government experts will be exploring a range of topics through short presentations, panel discussions and Q&A opportunities.
