Phil Manning and Mark Ferrie both have long pedigrees in the Australian music industry – Phil as a founding member of the legendary OzBlues band ‘Chain’, a solo performer and session musician and Mark as a long-time member of ‘The Models’ and bassist with the 'RocKwiz Orkestra. Mark is also the founding member of many Melbourne acts including 'The Sacred Cowboys’ and ‘The Mercurials’. They are both also excellent songwriters, each with their distinctive styles and approaches.Together they will present an evening at the Melbourne Athenaeum Library, where they will discuss and share personal insights into their careers, while performing songs with each other.
This special event is a must for enthusiasts of the vibrant Melbourne music scene.
