Australian BPD Foundation Conference 2025 - Flagship event for BPD Awareness Week
*Content warning – mentions suicide*
'1 in 10: Uniting for Change' is the Australian BPD Foundation’s national conference theme, bringing together clinicians, consumers, carers, and policymakers around one urgent goal: ending the concerning statistic that one in ten people who die by suicide are linked to symptoms consistent with a diagnosis of borderline personality disorder (BPD).
This conference is one of the largest events in Australia dedicated solely to BPD, spotlighting treatment, advocacy, and lived experience.
Where: Amora Hotel Riverwalk, Melbourne AND online (9.00am-5.00pm AEST)
Who should attend:
The event is ideally suited for clinicians and service providers from a range of mental health and allied health sectors who want to broaden their understanding of BPD and learn more strategies to support people experiencing chronic suicidal distress. People living with BPD (and their carers) are welcome to attend. We encourage you to consider your own wellbeing, as most of the sessions will include discussion of suicide. Support will be available during the day.
