Louise Tozer, Director, Capital Works (and Interim Director Development) – RMIT University. Louise Tozer is a seasoned property and development leader with over 30 years of experience delivering a variety of projects across education, cultural, aged care, mixed use, land development and civic sectors. As Director of Capital Works and Interim Director of Development at RMIT University, she oversees the University's annual capital works program and leads the development of its inaugural Master Plan. Louise’s career spans public and private sectors, including award-winning cultural institutions and transformative education facilities. Known for her strategic foresight, governance expertise, and collaborative leadership, she is a passionate advocate for quality, innovation, and shaping environments that support learning, community, and sustainability. Louise also mentors emerging professionals and actively contributes to industry advancement.
Patrick Cooney, Director, Milieu Property. Patrick is Director at Milieu Property and has a strong background in development management, sales and marketing. Since he joined Milieu Group in 2016, Patrick has managed the sales and marketing of all developments, working closely on projects from inception through to settlement. This ranges from selecting designers and consultants, to site inspections and more. Patrick has long been interested in property development and commenced his career in the industry as soon as he completed high school. 21 years on, he provides Milieu with a well rounded and attentive leadership style that sees him take the lead in client interactions.
Jessie Fowler, Director, Fowler Ward. Jessie Fowler is a founding director of Fowler and Ward Architects, a practice that enjoys producing creative, livable, and tailored responses to complex sites, interesting briefs and increased density. Jessie previously worked both locally and internationally, including for respected practices Clare Cousins Architects and Boston-based Merge Architects. In Boston, Jessie led teams working on major projects including the City Modern multi-residential development in Detroit and the renovation of the Massachusetts headquarters of a global search engine company. Jessie’s passion lies in producing spaces, and houses in particular, that give back to their neighbourhood. Creating homes in small spaces, sensitive renovations that breathe new life into under appreciated buildings, and new-builds or multi-residential developments that increase density without overwhelming neighbourhood character.
Mat Foley, Director, Content Studio. Mat founded Fitzroy-based Content Studio in 2008. The studio has successfully delivered schools, libraries, community hubs, and interpretive centres, for clients such as the Victorian School Building Authority (VSBA), City of Melbourne and Tourism Victoria. The practice works across a broad range of project scales, ranging from $100K to $15M. At Content, Mat takes the lead on all projects with the support of a dedicated team of registered architects and graduates. Mat’s hands-on approach is key to studio operations and the solutions delivered to clients and projects. Prior to launching Content Studio, Mat worked on award-winning projects in Australia, London, China, and Singapore for international practices Lab Architecture Studio and Denton Corker Marshall, focusing on the design and delivery of prominent cultural and commercial projects.
CPD
The event will deliver 1 formal CPD point. The program will include time for Q&A and a post event CPD assessment task. Certificates will be issued following participation in the full session and online submission of answers to CPD questions.
