In the (almost) final 20th anniversary concert FCO has a sparkling program and a Matching Donation weekend.
Saint-Saëns's Piano Concerto No. 2 is magnificent, from its pensive opening to its final heartracing presto. We are delighted to welcome back pianist James Dekleva, a 2021 quarter-finalist in the International Beethoven Piano Competition in Vienna and a 2024 finalist in the 6th Piano Island International Piano Competition in Singapore.
Also on the program is Mozart's Symphony 40 and Da Pacem Domine by Arvo Pärt.
Conducted by the brilliant John Keene.
