Join Dr Graeme Lorimer at Ken Leversha Reserve as he demonstrates the processes of recovery that nature is undergoing, including plants rarely seen except in the year or two following fire. He will explain how anyone with a smartphone can help record nature’s recovery by uploading photographs or sound recordings to the iNaturalist app.Speaker
Dr Graeme Lorimer is an environmental scientist with almost 40 years’ experience in fire ecology who has served on fire prevention committees, collaborated with Council and Montrose Fire Brigade to organise planned burns and has assisted traumatised residents in the wake of bushfires.
This event is being held in partnership with Montrose Environmental Group.
