MINI MAKERS KIDS (ages 8-12) | NATURE PRINTING
About
This school holidays young artists aged 8 - 14 are invited to join Gallery educators to create a variety of prints from nature. Participants will take inspiration from our '60 Years' exhibition.Two sessions available:
10am - 12pm & 1pm - 3pm
1pm - 3pm
The plan is to experiment with natural plant materials and a range of printmaking processes to create a mixed media botanical artwork. Students will explore the following:
- Relief printing
- Rubbings
- Cyanotype (if weather permits - requires a sunny day)
All materials supplied, participants will need to be supervised by an adult.
