Learning through Culture
Join Little Green Steps WA and One World Centre as we partner to bring Early Year Educators our 'Learning through Culture: Cultural Responsiveness in the Early Years' Workshop
Cultural Responsiveness is a core component of professional practice for early childhood educators. This workshop introduces the concepts of culture and cultural responsiveness and provides examples and resources to assist educators in incorporating culturally responsive practice into their own educational settings.
The workshop involves interactive activities that are critically reflective, collaborative and support further learning for participants, enabling them to:
· Gain knowledge about and be responsive to different cultural ways of knowing being and doing.
· Assist children to develop a strong sense of identity, agency and belonging and become confident and creative learners who are connected with and contribute to their world.
· Collaborate to build inclusive and culturally safe learning spaces.
