Originally constructed as a croquet lawn under Sir Ronald Cross in 1955, it was converted to a bowling green during Sir Charles Gairdner’s term in 1965.

Today the green is maintained by professional greenkeepers and can be hired out for bowls and croquet during daylight saving months.

Alcohol and smoking are not permitted within the venue.

Bookings are available most weekends between Saturday 4 October 2025 and Sunday 29 March 2026.

90 minute timeslots are available at 10 am and 2 pm.

Court hire per timeslot is $100 for up to 20 people. Additional equipment can be hired for $10.
