2025 ACT Under 8/10 Chess Championships(NB This is a single event with prizes for both age groups)
Where: Campbell High School Library, Treloar Crescent, Campbell
When: Sunday 21st September
Children born on or after 1 January 2015
Schedule: Registration 12:45pm
Round 1: 1pm Prize 5pm
Tournament Format: 6 rounds (minimum) 15 minutes per player per game
Entry Fee: $20 per child ($25 for non-members). Third and subsequent child from the same family is free
Trophies for the ACT Under 8 an Under 10 Open and Girls Champions, including
second place for each age category and encouragement award medals. Participants
can only receive one trophy. Every player receives a ribbon!
Participants should have lunch beforehand. No pizza lunch is provided for this
tournament. Snack items and drinks will be available for sale. Please note that
we have a nut free environment.
