Bowral Little Athletics invites children and young people with a disability or additional needs to come and try athletics.
What to expect
- opportunity to try athletics in a welcoming space with a bit of fun
- meet the friendly club volunteers
- discuss modifications and pathways in athletics for people with a disability
This event is part of Wingecarribee Shire Council's Breaking Barriers Program, supported by Australian Sport's Commission Play Well initiative.
Important information
- Open to children aged 5 to 19 years, with a parent or carer.
- The activities will be delivered by club volunteers and staff from Effect Exercise Physiology.
- Activities are designed for parent/carer involvement and adult supervision is required.
- We will let participants know closer to the day if there are any location changes due to rain.
-The track is a grass field, and flat areas will be made available for wheelchair users. Accessible toilets available.
