KIN UNDER 3 PROGRAM (October-December) 2025
The Under 3 Program at Montessori East is known as Kin. Kin is a welcoming space for parents and young children to grow together. Children explore a carefully prepared environment at their own pace, developing focus, creativity, and confidence through self-directed play.
Parents have the chance to pause, observe, and see their child with fresh eyes. Many discover a new ease in parenting with less pressure to direct or entertain, and more space to connect and enjoy their child.
Kin is about presence, community, and trust. It is a place to slow down and build strong foundations for your child and for yourself.
- Discover Montessori-inspired play strategies to support your child's communication, focus, and social skills development.
- Learn effective tools for managing challenging behaviours.
- Gain techniques to support your child's emotional growth and regulation.
- Connect with other parents, share experiences, and build a supportive community.
- Create a nurturing environment for both you and your child to learn and grow together.
Please note:
- One responsible adult must attend with the enrolled child.
- Breastfeeding is welcome within the Kin playspace. Siblings can breastfeed in the playspace for the duration of the feed. However, only the enrolled child may be present in the Kin playspace at other times.
- One2One parent coaching call is not included with the Parenting Toddlers Program but can be purchased separately. Scroll to the bottom to book a session.
If you're unsure which program is best for you and your child, please get in touch with the event organiser at under3@montessori.nsw.edu.au.
