An informal walk and talk event, where farmers Mick Mclaughlin and Graham Buttler share their experience in running a highly productive and low input Kikuyu based rotational system, that incorporates clover as major source of N and ensures viability and contribution of winter grasses. Establishment and management under both rain fed and irrigation systems.The team of a new Dung Beetle project will also be discussing how to get the most of these amazing workers, to improve the soil health in your farm
Afternoon tea at arrival and BBQ and happy hour at the end. FAMILY FRIENDLY EVENT (children welcome but must be supervised).
