SANDRA HARRIS RAMINISandra began her career in the media at the ABC Perth where, as Sandra Harris, she was an announcer on 6WF and 6WN. She was the youngest broadcaster ever for the ABC aged 18 and at 20 went on to become one of the station’s first and youngest television presentation announcers on ABC -TV. She then travelled to London to try her luck with the BBC and with Thames Television, emerging as a popular and highly respected reporter/ interviewer, meeting and interviewing everyone from Laurence Olivier and Maggie Smith to Mick Jagger and Michael Jackson and many others. She even got into bed with John Lennon and Yoko Ono and got to know Michael Caine and Omar Sharif.
