About
Join artist Rebecca Prince for a hands-on workshop where you’ll learn to craft your own olla, a traditional terracotta irrigation vessel perfect for slow watering your garden through the summer months. Using the ancient coil-building technique, you’ll shape a porous clay pot that can be buried near a plant or tree to gently release water over time. You’ll also design a decorative, watertight lid to keep your olla sealed and add some creative interest to your garden bed. This process is not only practical but also beautifully meditative, a chance to slow down, connect with clay, and create something deeply useful and artful for your garden.Suitable for all skill levels.
