2026 BYOD Information Night

Dear Parents and Carers of Year 2 2025,As part of the transition to Year 3 in 2026, your child will be entering the Murrumbeena PS Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program for the first time, requiring purchase of a new device for your child.
On Tuesday October 14th, 2025, at 6.45pm we will be hosting an information night to explain the BYOD program at Murrumbeena PS. This will include:
• Explanation of the educational outcomes of the program
• Reasoning behind the specific device chosen
• Overview of the Cyber Safety Management practices present in the BYOD program
• Evidence of the program's success in 2025
• Details for purchasing through our school supplier, LWT.
We strongly encourage at least one representative per current Year 2 child to attend the information evening. This evening will be professionally recorded and distributed subsequently for those who can't attend.
