Perth Rotary | Visit to St George's Cathedral (SOLD OUT)
About
Long-serving Perth Rotarian, Dr John Shepherd, has arranged for a special tour for Perth Rotarians of St George's Cathedral, where he was Dean for 24 years, retiring in 2014.Built between 1879 and 1888 in the Victorian Academic Style, the church is part of Perth's heritage precinct. It is also a central part of Perth's history as you will learn about during our tour, including the locally made rose-coloured bricks of the interior and the lovely stained glass windows.
Come and join us for this very special event, where we will be exploring our city's history as well as this long-standing place of worship.
Before our tour, we will meet for a la carte lunch at the ANZAC Club, almost next door to the church. If you wish to attend the tour only, please let Wendy Campbell know on clubservice@rotaryperth.org.au.
Booking close Tuesday, 4 November @ 3pm.
